Something Old, New, Borrowed and Red???

As women we can’t help but always fall back to our trusted old traditions – the beautiful flowers, the pretty bridesmaids, the stunning white gown, we could go on. Now we are not saying there’s anything wrong with these good old traditions on your very special day but why not add your own sexy twist on this memorable occasion with a dash of red!

This is about romanticizing the traditional white gown with sultry red lips, sexy voluptuous hair and vibrant glossy red nails to enhance that passionate dangerously-in-love look. The genius behind this innovative idea, Edee Beau dares to cross the boundaries of love and venture into more risky territories in the name of tradition, tearing up the rulebooks and painting it a deliciously sultry crimson.

Edee Beau, a well-known famous hair and makeup connoisseur from London has chosen red as a bold yet subtle theme for the looks, which is also the colour of her brand, showing that you have the choice of being bold and sexy or subtle and sultry.

Here is what we have done with the colour RED:

The first look for the Church we took inspiration from the eighties, the cute but sexy untamed side parting with the cartoon-esque love heart earrings

The 1940’s inspired middle parting shows elegantly waved and neatly placed hair finished with a smooth velvet red lip.

The second look for the Reception we were inspired by the ‘Hollywood beauty’ style with tousled wind-swept waves combined with a subtle smokiness to the eye and a glossy red lip to finish off the sexy siren look.

The rose tinted nude lip with a strong smokey eye adds a twist to the innocent middle parted waves finishing with silver chains rapped around the crown instead of a tiara, giving the princess a touch a rebellion.

And finally for the third look playing with more tradition, the gele is wrapped over voluptuous tousled curls with a hint of gold on the smokey eye and finished with a crimson pout for a modern day African goddess feel.

For a unique factor, the traditional gele revamped. Here the gele is wrapped and left with an asymmetrical point adding height to the brides crowning glory. With a nude peach lip finishing the queen of Sheba look with a subtle yet dramatic red smokey eye.
